Today is the day!!!
I am very humbled to premiere my first single “My Sweet Emily” from my new full length record - this single features Dan Mayer on vocals.
It will be available tonight exclusively @ www.blackdogdigital.com immediately following the memorial Dinner.
A little Reflection ....
It was November 20, 2016 when Dan and I met at the studio to try and iron out a replacement for my vocal ideas for this tune. During the recording session Dan was invaluable in the spacial structure of the song - as we were cutting the actual track - he and I had planed to reconvene to cut harmonies at a later date but we had no idea what was coming 10 days later. I miss him very much and I am eternally thankful that Dan took the time to sing this song.
I am convinced no one else in the world could’ve sung it better than Dan.
