At Blackdog Recording Studios, every type of project is considered of equal importance. Preparation is the key, so consultation with us is highly encouraged. Blackdog can prepare a customized estimate based on the specific information given prior to your session date. All quoted rates include the engineer, the use of the studio, and any equipment utilized.
In the old days of analog recording, clients used to have to purchase their very expensive session master tapes, but nowadays, we store sonic information on relatively inexpensive hard drives and recordable media.
We will automatically backup your session and garuntee it's contents for 30 days after your last session, but for ultimate safekeeping, this process should be doubled so that both the studio and the client have a matching copy.
For larger projects, we recommend purchasing your own external USB3 hard drive for data storage. Backing up your work is an essential part of the recording experience and will be billed accordingly, however, backups are officially our client's property.
Blackdog Recording Studios are not responsible for any loss or damage to your files.
A minimum (1 hour Deposit) is required to retain or make a reservation at the studio.
This policy is designed to insure timely participation by both the client and Studios Engineers/Producers.
If the client leaves a 1 hour deposit and cancels with less than 48 hours notice the deposit is not refundable and a new deposit will have to be made for a new session.
All sessions are a minimum of 2 hours
Reserving a 10 hour retainer or a FULL day Lockouts must be prepaid in full by the time the appointment is agreed to.

There are no refunds offered from this Studio at anytime for any reason.
Client's pre-paid studio time will always be honored at some point in the future when it's convenient for the client and studio.
