A Wrap on 2013

We have had another astonishing year in 2013! Thank you to all who have come and worked and those who have reached out in interest of Blackdog studios! We are booking for January and February and are securing work in as far as April-May 2014. Don’t hesitate to get in touch!

We have seen an incredible record releases. Setiva, Alyssa Trahan, Tommy Wales of walesroad.com, Nick Leduc and Last Note and The Moho Collective and many more, Dozens of Mix tapes from the likes of 38 Special, "A" the Great and N Dot Sodus, just to name a few.


We have witnessed the birth of our in studio music show "The Blackdog Sessions" and "The Blackdog Stripped" Live Performance Series, The Rochester International Jazz Fest where we hosted up to 3 performances a day, to our international clients from Germany, Serbia, West Africa and Taiwan just to name a few who use our net-mix services, to all the students of our Modern Recording Techniques Program, To all the Engineers and Producers who frequent the use of our facility and so many more the list would be to long to fit in this short summary.


We also lost Great People I admired, Nelson Mandela and Eastman Professor and Pianist Tatiana Tchekina both inspirational heroes to me.

Most Importantly want to thank my partner Jade Chiu and my children who tolerate me and my musical passions day in and day out. You are all so amazing and very supportive to me.
